Two kinds of monitoring equipment

This category brings together two very different groups of products. The first is everyday equipment for homes and small clinics: digital and aneroid blood pressure machines, fingertip pulse oximeters and digital thermometers. The second is professional equipment for hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centres: multi-parameter patient monitors, 12-channel ECG machines, biochemistry analyzers, ultrasound and colour Doppler systems and X-ray equipment. Buying diagnostic equipment in Bangladesh is easier when you know which group you need, because the questions you should ask are not the same.

Home devices: blood pressure, oxygen and temperature

For home use, choose a device the patient or caregiver can operate confidently. Automatic blood pressure monitors are simple to use; aneroid machines with a stethoscope suit people trained to take manual readings. Pulse oximeters show oxygen saturation and pulse rate within seconds and are useful for people on oxygen therapy. Readings support, but never replace, the judgement of the treating doctor.

  • Check the cuff size against the upper-arm circumference of the user.
  • Prefer models with memory if readings need to be shown to the doctor.
  • Confirm battery type and what is included in the box.

Patient monitors and clinical equipment

Professional equipment is a larger investment and should be chosen against the clinical workload. For patient monitors, confirm the parameters measured, such as ECG, SpO2, non-invasive blood pressure, temperature and respiration, the screen size and the accessories supplied. For ECG, ultrasound, analyzers and X-ray units, ask about installation, operator training, warranty terms, the availability of probes and consumables, and who provides service after the sale. Brand and country of origin matter less than reliable local support.

Accuracy, calibration and consumables

Every measuring device needs correct use and periodic checks. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for positioning, cleaning and storage, and ask how calibration or verification is arranged for clinical equipment. Budget for the items you will replace over time.

  • Cuffs, SpO2 sensors and ECG leads wear out and should be replaced with compatible parts.
  • Analyzers need reagents and controls; check their availability before buying.
  • Keep the manual and warranty card with the device.

Request a quotation for the complete setup

Send us the product link, the intended use and, for clinical equipment, the facility type. We will confirm the exact model, accessories, warranty, delivery and installation arrangements in writing so you can compare offers on the same basis. For home devices, ask us for the current price and stock, and we can deliver across Dhaka and to other districts by arrangement. Clinics planning several purchases can ask for a combined quotation, which makes it easier to standardise accessories and consumables across devices.
